This our beautiful daughter , Ashley, the day we adopted her!! As you can see, her smile is so contagious ! We were so honored to be parents of such a loving , caring and compassionate girl like Ashley. Even though she left this world way too soon, she taught us more about love , humility and perseverance than you can imagine!! To honor her, 10% of my closet goes to Charity. All that Ashley had and was given, she gave back to others!

Also, I was diagnosed with Permanent Vertigo , and I have good and bad days! I’m in therapy now and both the doctor and PT told me I can use my I-Phone 20 minutes three days a day for Sharing. I can not thank those poshers who have been more than generous with me! I will do my best to share as much as I can, but if you feel you can’t or don’t want to share , I completely understand! I appreciate all the blessings and love I’ve received thus far!!! God Bless! ❤️

There is no time table for grief; you need to take one day at a time. I went back to work way too soon..2 weeks ! Counseling helped and still does! I’ll be praying and thinking of you! 🙏😇🙏

Easy to see she was a blessing with her happy face, so sorry she had to go home so early. I feel over loaded allot grimy to help support my son's and grand daughter but your story makes me happy they are still here. @canarygreen I had a viral infection which in turn caused hearing loss which now I have permanent vertigo! Hmm! It all started my regular doctor noticed what’s called nystgma vertigo! I went to the best ENT doctor in our area and had the test. Yes, I have them off and on!

So sorry for your lost she is beautiful! I have 4 children all teenagers almost adults now except my baby he's 8 I could not image having to deal with the heartbreak. @crystalco Remember the test for such problems is only clinical observation. With vertigo especially intermittent, tests are concluded at what observed at the time. Plus just having a bad night sleep before can change how you felt over all that day. Like me, in looking at me, I appear bright, cheerful etc....you would never know by observing me that my pancreas is dying and 80% of my colon has bled for 40 years.

@crystalco Either BPPV or vestibular neuritis, both positioning of the neck. Very important. My mom fell 29 feet from haymound at age 39. Developed Hydrocephalus. Her vertigo, tinnitus, trigeminal neurelgia etc... all has to do with the tubing going from brain to abdomen and how it makes her hold hed neck. Plus spinal fluid. Causes a lot of this. We make less or more depending on neck postion. More to less, less to more causes same symptoms. I know...a lot to think about.

@crystalco Bottom line. Read yourself. Doctors don't take the time. Oh, nystagmus...this is a dysfunction of the inner ear. Vestibular....very important! Means nucleus in the brainstem! See? It is already coming together. The nucleus in brainstem transmits signals. When they do not compute?? Yep vertigo symptoms. Look up pressure points for the neck on hands and feet. Push them throughout the day.

As soon as I built an environmentally friendly home, keep hepa filters going, got organic bed...,huge because beds are the most toxic thing ever! Went completly non gmo organic, baking soda baths each night ....my colon stopped bleeding, feeding tubes came out, got my period for the first time, can function. Chemicals are killing everyone...some just slower than others.

I’m so sorry for your sadness and discomfort. I know for some it is hard to believe that God has a plan for you, and usually in his time not ours. He watches over us and loves us unconditionally, try asking him for help in the morning and thank him at night! @canarygreen I’ve read all your comments and wanted to share that 5 years ago, I was really sick and felt I was dying. It took months of hospital visits, tests and appts with traditional doctors before I realized they could not figure out what was wrong with me. I prayed every day and night for an answer. I didn’t want to die.

@canarygreen I was so scared because my stomach pain had become unbearable. I can’t fit this all in two comments, but EMF poisoning, from my laptop, was slowly killing me. It was frying my intestines and it took a holistic doctor to figure it all out. He immediately put me on supplements, I had to change my entire diet and I had to live without TV, my cell phone, computers, lights and any electronics for almost 4 months. I went to bed when the sun went down, but he healed me completely.

@canarygreen I’ve had to alter my life with electronics, but I have learned how to take care of myself. The sad part is that most people have no clue about EMF and many don’t even see what our future will be because of electronics. So many people are sick and have no idea why. It wasn’t hard to see the light as it seemed pretty obvious to me once I learned about it, but I cannot change it. I can only change how I live and what I eat. Sorry for the book. 💞💞💞

Oh I know! We do not have much of any of that. No microwave! Never put cell phone to ear! EMF's are horrific. Like stray voltage in cows! I am glad you got things concluded. But be careful with supplements. Boy what a scam with most companies!

@crystalco I am so so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful heart you have. How blessed you were to have had each other. God works in mysterious ways. My father has terminal cancer. He is in hospice and hasn’t eaten for 4 days and no water for 3. His breathing is labored and his transitioning is in full force. He’s being given morphine to keep pain at bay. It’s very sad, but he will join my mother, so it’s all good. God Bless you and your beautiful daughter will be forever with you. 🙏🙏🙏

Just knowing he was going to be with my mother and Ashley gave me such relief but was still painful! Our brain knows but our ❤️ feels the pain so deep! Vertigo - I know too well about vertigo/chronic disequilibrium/balance. Just got done with vestibular therapy with no success. Back to Orthopedic Surgeon this week for related cervical issues.

A few months back I lost a good friend of mine to cancer (he had just graduated high school, age 18), and just about 2 weeks ago my mother lost an old student of hers to cancer as well (she was a freshman in high school, barely 15). Losing loved ones is very hard, but we humans can help each other by supporting one another and spreading love! ❤️

@crystalco My prayers to you and your family. Losing a child is never easy and time will heal. I ost my fatherinlaw to cancer, he was like a father to me, and I still miss him everyday. My closest friend lost her 17 year old daughter in a tragic accident and it was the most horrible thing I have experienced, and she wasnt even my daughter but knew her since she was a baby. She was blessed to have you and you for having her in your life.

@crystalco I too suffer from vertigo so I know it is not fun I too have good days and bad days, it can be very debilitating. Therapy and exercises seem to help it as I chose not to medicate for it. Glad to have met you here on POshmark and will do what I can to share share share =)

I’m so sorry for your losses as I know they hurt , and you find a way to cope with them. I rely strongly on my faith to carry me. Yes, I also go to therapy for my vertigo in which it helps! Like you, I won’t use the medicine bc it makes it worse! Mine is permanent , and my doctor said it will level out , but I’ll never be able to do what I used to do. One day at a time!! I learned this tip from the video i linked above and from a comment on the video, use the edit function when sharing your listings because it puts your listing back at the top of the listings of its kind in the categories. It updates it. Otherwise they slowly get pushed to the bottom. "edit" , "next", "list". Do that at least once a day with yiur listings to keep them fresh. And for sharing to parties too. That video has a lot of useful tips for getting exposure to make sales.

@crystalco I visited yesterday,, she is getting taller, still no movement in her legs. Continuing P.T. They just set the appointment the end of May for her follow up at the Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. Thank you so much for asking 💓 She's a strong little girl, with two older sisters. It gets hard trying to list items, it takes me forever.. something I need to improve on. So glad you are having good days!! Hoping more good than bad❤️

I am so sorry about your previous daughter! I couldn't imagine!! 😪😪 💞🙏🙏 My mom had such a severe Vertigo case, she had a trial surgery at Yale New Haven in Ct.. It worked , but they had to close off that ear canal. Therapy Would not work for her. I pray it does for you🙏🙏🙏❣

Ashley sounds like she was an amazing soul. Sorry for your lost. I can't imagine that pain but I do know the pain of 3 extremely disabled children who I take care of day & night who give me strength to keep going. I do not want to take away from your daughter's post though. 😘😘Much Love!!

I can definitely understand and share your pain losing a daughter sweetheart. Although our circumstances are different it's still no less painful. My baby girl was kidnapped and taken from us and her 6 month old daughter over 8 years ago. She is a victim of Human Trafficking. We are still trying to find her. Losing a child is horrible. Your daughter does have a contagious smile!
I sympathize with you on the vertigo. I suffered terrible vertigo following a head injury last autumn. I spent several months in physical therapy, and it's helped me tremendously. You might ask your doctor if there's a physical therapist in your area who specializes in vertigo. Blessed be.

I have so much to list, and spend my days being so tired I can’t seem to get it all listed! My sales are just ok. It’s hard to really make any money it seems like. We will get through this my friend. @crystalco it’s been 16 years yesterday, since my Christine was called home, and 14 since my son went home to be with the Lord. My daughter was 18 and lost her life in a car accident and my son passed as a result of complications for a surgery he had. I think as time goes by, the blow gets softer, but our lives will forever be changed.🌷💕💗

@crystalco my friend who lost her son formed a group in our area called Spirit moms, and sadly our group is growing. I also attend the Compassionate Friends Christmas candle lighting ceremony every year for all of the kids who have left us. It is Worldwide 24 hours of light for them. Wherever you live, there is a chapter. I recommend it.😘😘💕

My heart is with you as yes time softens the blow, but my ❤️ is broken. Our life’s are forever changed. You’re one incredibly strong woman who I have the upmost respect for! @crystalco Compassionate Friends has a walk to remember every year, a long weekend seminar and walk, and is in a different state every year. We should go together. Usually in July or August! The other parents and siblings are so comforting to be with. It took me about 8 or 9 years before I heard about Compassionate Friends. I love this organization!

I made a note about your permanent vertigo, how awful. I have chronic lyme disease, including dizziness as one of my problems, along with other things. I just wanted to let you know that lyme disease can cause vertigo and be misdiagnosed as maniere's disease. POTS is another related one that can have an underlying cause of lyme disease.

There are a lot of false negative test results, bad inaccurate testing, ignorant doctors (most doctors are misinformed about lyme), and contrary to popular belief, lyme is in all 50 states, they are wherever deer and squirrels are basically. you may never see a tick because they can be the size of a poppyseed,

I never saw a tick, and I also never saw a rash. Many people don't. I also don't know if I ever got those flu-like symptoms, because I was a child and my mom would have thought it was the real flu. If we saw a rash, we would have thought it was a regular inexplainable "no big deal" rash.

To get a doctor who knows anything about lyme, and thus get a second opinion (only if you want, of course!) you would look up naturopathic doctor or lyme literate doctor (ISDA has a referall website). You can assume the rest are ignorant and that they spread misinformation without even knowing.

I have 40 food allergies, and years and years down the line, I eventually had an epiphany that all my symptoms must be caused by common factors. I used to have asthma too. Headaches. The list goes on and on, and things were come and go style.

I know that because there's a fb group called "women's lyme disease support group" and virtually everyone on there has at least four food allergies, and many of them are worse than me, 115 food allergies, etc. etc.

What we have (whether it's lyme or something else) is called mast cell activation syndrome. There's one lady who's had to have her room bubble wrapped because she's allergic to everything, including her husband.
The person who finally diagnosed me with lyme after 2 decades of doctors failing me.. was a naturopathic doctor, if you're curious. They dig for causes and believe in miracles. They believe the body can heal itself when given the right supplies.

Of course I'm not trying to diagnose anyone though! Sorry if I come across that way. I just wish someone had told me about lyme sooner, on the off chance that it could be related to me. We lived in a vacuum and I didn't even know ticks were in oregon or that lyme was here at all, just for example. Sometimes a big risk is taken talking about it, but other times people appreciate it. I never know.

@thymetraveler I went to three doctors and one checked for Lyme disease! The ear specialist did a test for permanent vertigo, and it was caused by a viral infection that led to hearing loss to permanent vertigo. I’m in therapy now, and it helps. However, I’m going to take all the information you said and present to my doctor. I’m sorry you have to go through all of this. You’re such a genuine loving kind person. I so appreciate you. @wannagetit Hi there! Thanks so very much! I will try that. I truly appreciate your kindness! I was tested because it started with my eyes(nystagmus), then, got tested. A viral infection caused the hearing loss which in turn cause the Permanent Vertigo. I have been to therapy and it has helped. Some days are better than others.
