@ashley122383 - thank you! That's kind of you to say :) Essentially, I put down the soda in favor of water (I was a Pepsi addict). I stopped eating fast food. When the twins were born, I was determined that they were only going to observe and learn healthy eating habits. They were a great inspiration to change my life and attitude and continue on the same path. Water, healthy eating, portion control and exercise when possible. That's my not so "secret." :)

@generationxgirl Awww that's great! I drink diet soda but need to drink more water myself. That's great! I'm proud of you and I am happy to hear that there's more little ones being raised in a healthy way. I teach 3-4 year olds and it is so nice to see parents actually trying to feed their kids in a healthy manner. Good for u! ;)

OMGosh!! They are adorable and that's wonderful to hear about your weight loss. I have a "going on two" yr old, and I have had the hardest time getting the 50 I put on with pregnancy off, not to mention the extra I already had on before she was a twinkle in my eye lol. I keep telling myself little by little.

Always was skinny as a rail until I had a hysterectomy . It happened so fast my head still spins. It happens to a lot of women that have one. Your metabolism flat lines. Being a single mom with twins you probably have a rough time doing things for your self. I've been there but not with twins. I have been married twice, so my son's are spaced out age wise one is 29 and the other turned 10 yesterday. I will keep nominating you for a HP until you get one! Thanks for all the share's! I was thin back in HS & my 20's & then in my late 20's I developed Hypothyroidism & the Weight went up & up. I was reading where you said you were a Pepsi Addict...that's me but with Coke. I need to do what you did & drink more water, etc. Your a definite Inspiration to not only me & others, but your Children as well. Beautiful at either size & beautiful inside as well as outside 💞. @mpolen - well... It wasn't overnight. Took me about 2 years altogether. I gave up fast food, eating late and most especially, Pepsi. Strict portion control. I drink a LOT of water. I eat Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries for brunch and I eat a light dinner. I chase after my twins a lot... And have the house to take care of after they have gone to sleep, which is my pseudo exercise. It's a everyday choice to be healthy, which I think is the most difficult part.

@ginav73 - I JUST saw your message. Not sure how I missed it... Sorry, beautiful!!! I have Hypothyroidism too!!! What a battle. It too forever to find the right dose of Synthroid for me and I'm not entirely convinced it is right, still. Stress kills Thyroid function. There's also a connection between a birth control I was using and destruction of Thyroid function. That was a very tough time...

Could I ask what the hand sign is that the little one is doing in the pick with the index and little fingers up? I see this all the time and don't know what it means. My hubby and I have always used a sign similar to this that has the thumb out also and it means I Love you?

@omybunny - his little hand gesture means "Rock on!" We love music in this house. He even has his own drum set... I've gained about 40 pounds since my "after/during" picture.... Because of medication. Ahhhh yes- the great trade off. Which one do you want to live with? The original condition or the weight. What a miserable quandary.

Oh Sweetheart I am still squealing with joy over the beautiful tops you sent!! You really did too much for me and I love it!!! My hubby loves them all too and my mom is staying the night with me to take me for a treatment tomorrow so she is squealing too because i am giving her the gorgeous cream sweater vest!! It fits her perfectly and you were right, the bottom band made it impossible for me, but I can definitely make me one using it as a pattern, which was my intention!
