Relive the magic of Lord of the Rings and the realm of Rivendell. This vintage costume is based on the angelic gown worn by Arwen Undómiel in the movie version of Fellowship of the Ring. The metallic silvery knit outer gown is very sheer--you will want a slip or chemise under it!--and has a lovely subtle summer that the camera doesn't capture. The gauzy undersleeves and front panel have yellowed with age and could possibly be replaced with a new underlayer...or you could leave the dress as-is for a time-worn look! Measurements are provided in the photos. Please note that the waist has elastic in back and can stretch up to 19.5" (measured flat). The only flaw is that the stitching that holds the elastic has come loose in one spot (see photo), but otherwise, it's in good shape. Bought secondhand and tried on a couple times, but never worn.
