Hi there! I'm Jeanette. I live in a small town in PA with my husband, our 4 dogs (who are like our kids) and our tortoise. I love makeup, clothes and shopping! I also have a non-girly side: I like to fish, shoot guns and I volunteer with our local fire department. I am not currently selling due to time constraints but may come back in the future. closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 LOL! One of mine only got his diploma there because they felt sorry for him. He's the last one in my pics. He was 8 weeks old. She said she'd never met a dog as "special" as him, lol. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but we love him. He know sit. We've had him 7 years. He still walks in circles when we say, "kennel". Bahaha! Our chow mix is scary smart though.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 Nope. They said they couldn't do anything with him, lol. He had a LOT of issues, including aggression (at only 8 weeks old). He needed one on one training, so I did the research and did it myself.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 I totally agree. I couldn't fix it all, but he's extremely sweet. He was only aggressive with my other large dog. They've learned each other's triggers and avoid them. We still have fights about every 3 months, but it beats every day, like it used to be. He's never once shown aggression to a human thankfully. 😊

jeanettew83 @closetenvy2 We had the same issue with my rescue pup, Milo. But we got through it. He passed away last year. I miss him terribly.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 Oh, I'm so sorry! It's never easy. We've lost 2 paralyzed fosters that we knew would never be adopted, so they were like ours. We had them cremated though. That helps knowing that they did have a home before they passed, and they're still here with us. I list 2 parvo puppies, but we knew they weren't going to make it.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 It was just important to me that they didn't die in the shelter. It's hard, but looking back, I'd do it again. We moved away from that shelter that I fostered for 6 months ago, so I'm not doing it anymore. I miss it, but I'm getting too old, lol. That's why I keep our family website. We will always have memories there of Emma and all of the dogs that have passed through our home. :)

jeanettew83 @closetenvy2 Thanks so much. Milo had a lot of special needs too. He was very abused before he came to us. He needed a lot of care every day. We had him cremated too. We buy him fresh flowers every week. It was hard to take care of him but if I could have him back I'd do it all over again with no hesitation. I miss taking care of him.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 Aww, you're awesome! Sounds like we're a lot alike. When Emma is gone, I know we'll search for another one like her. I can't imagine not taking care of a dog. We have to carry her in and out of the house and lift her on the couch, etc. Just those little things are the best. Milo will send you another one like him when and if you're ready.

closetenvy2 @jeanettew83 I just told our shelter that I was willing to foster any special needs animals, but I did work with a rescue group that ran their FB page and found rescues for the unadoptables and took pics of all the pets. I miss it a lot. But it sounds like you have an empty spot that may can be filled one day while helping another fur baby at the same time. 😉

I haven't been going on many calls due to some health issues but I'm an officer and do mostly administrative/ fundraising stuff. Once I'm feeling better, I would like to take the Firefighter 1 class and and EMT class to get my certifications! You are too sweet!

jeanettew83 @tandpsmom You're so welcome! I've actually only been doing this a few months myself. I think you're doing great so far! I've learned to be as active as I can. Follow as many people as you can, participate in parties, follow and share games, and share as much as you can. Also, make sure your closet is Posh compliant, some of the biggies that you shouldn't list are used makeup, household items, skincare products, etc.
