@hammii Oh wow! Welcome to Poshmark, you'll love it here!! So we get three party invites per day, from Katef, they're not really from her it's just automated and there's no way to stop them. The invites are built into the platform.
You may "join" any party as soon as the system notifies you that it has started. There's a party at 11am, 2pm, and 8pm, central time. Click shop, "shop the party that's happening now", I personally love the host pick section! Any other questions?

@desrus1 Always. I've never had an issue, Poshmark actually processes the payment before the item is shipped, they hold it until the customer releases the payment or 4 days, whichever comes first.

@lisadraper We did? That's awesome! I didn't become an su until about 7 months in and didn't get ANY new followers for close to a year. I didn't notice, didn't realize that there was another algorithm that I could be on?? I was "on the wheel" once a week, then one day bam, I started being "on the wheel" several times a week, it was crazy! I'm now at a medium rate, it has slowed, but I'm pretty sure it's random.

@angelmueller 🙂 I'm very intrigued by the topic of modesty- I was raised with very high restrictions so when I turned 18, I kind of just made my own choices regarding. It's a difficult topic and when I model my clothing I just wear it like it is so people can see it and because that's how most of the world wears it.

@simpscam I totally understand, I was also raised very strictly. When I was about 17 I struggled with why I wanted to be modest, eventually making my own decision to try and be different than the world.
It's not an easy way to live, and I do struggle to find modest clothing, but it's worth it to me. It can definitely be done, standing out is the point, being different makes a statement.

@angelmueller yes I'm encouraged by you! Half the stuff I sell on here is because I buy it and it's too low or short or tight for my liking-posh literally saves my life on not overspending in clothes and really liking everything in my closet!! Wear it once and it's not how I wanted it-sell 😂

@angelmueller actually I've contemplated doing so-i like what I'm doing now but don't love it but I'm addicted to posh!! The thing I notice with ur clothes is u price main steam brands at higher prices still. So because I'm a sale shopper to me it seems high and I feel bad charging people that much but do You think you're still succesful doing so..,do people just make u offers based off that price? I find I have the most success when I run specials in my closet-which I'm assuming is posh approp?

@simpscam Yes, this is appropriate. So one thing I've learned over the times I've been selling here is that you've got to price the item at the value that it is. Higher quality items or very trendy/cute/popular items will sell at a higher price point. So you need to figure your cost, Posh's 20%, and then consider your slim profit margin. I say slim, because generally is pretty slim especially when you consider paying taxes.

@theshaddings I know they do discounted shipping in a random pattern. But if you make a new listings for the customer, price high, drop low, usually that'll do the trick for discounted shipping. It had to be a drastic price point though, $5,000 down to $35, something like that... Hope this helps. :)

I love sharing listings and just began selling a few things in my closet (mainly items hand-me-downs), but feel conflicted sometimes. As far as balancing, I've pretty much set my closet for business, while sometimes I see a great deal on a FP dress that I wouldn't wear due to the fact that I dress modestly, I will go for the good deal. However, since I'm switching Over to wholesale, I get to select what comes in my closet...those choices get to be modest!
