As a sideline to working full-time as an events planner, for years I've modeled for fashion designers, stores & photographers. I also worked as stylist & photographer for them, which is why I acquired many things I sell here. A few years ago I also began KathleenStyle, working with individuals as a personal stylist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hope you’ll enjoy my fashions as much as I have.

katstyle @britgirl2 No, that's a friends backyard locally. But I love hydrangeas too, that's why I shot the photo there! And obviously because it was so perfect with that dress :-) nothing like the verdant British countryside, replete with hydrangea, rhododendron, lilacs… All my favorites!

katstyle @katietannehill Hi! Inre Events Planning: I went to work in marketing in the tech industry right out of school, & soon I was doing Industry trade shows for the companies I worked for. A few years later when everyone knew me, I went out on my own as a consultant doing those & other corporate events. Now I do charities and private parties as well. Maybe you could find an events company locally and start at the bottom with them till you know what you're doing, then move up the ladder? I hope you can find a way to get your foot in the door if that's what you'd like to do :-)

katstyle @angelab1998 Hi Sherry! Well then get back into it! I see you're in Castalia, OH? When I worked in the tech industry I worked all over OH: Findlay, Akron, Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati...but never modeled there. If you're serious you could check the department stores to see if they can use you for in-store modeling to get your feet wet again.

katstyle @angelab1998 I modeled clothes for various stores/boutiques/designers, they can spot you anywhere... I was walking down the street on my lunch hour in Chicago when I was 17, & a menswear designer asked me to do print work alongside his guys. Another time I was trying on hats in Saks fifth Ave, & they asked me to model them in print ads. You never know who's watching! Most important advice I can give:, when you do get work, have a good attitude so they want to work with you again. Good luck!
