I have had this tote for a long time and it has some stains, but there are no holes or damage to the bag besides the small stains. The stains are mostly on the strap and the backside (without metal logo). Some of the metal hardware has scratches and loss of paint. Just cosmetic issues. The size is great for travel or school, especially the RFID safe pockets of the bag and many locations for keys/small items. The outside has one large zip pocket, and two side pockets with one being expandable for bottles, etc. The inside has a separate large compartment, four easy access-open pockets, a zip pocket, and two key rings to clip stuff onto. I would describe the color as like a grey green.
