Vintage 1940s Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Evening Bag

This 1940s evening bag from Whiting & Davis is in fantastic condition. None of the mesh is loose or missing, the interior has every single stitch and is still perfectly attached with the original thread. Lining is sateen with some light color differences from age. Serial number inside dates it to the 40s (Whiting & Davis after the 70s had tags that said “For over 100 years”). Clasp is rhinestone embellished (one small rhinestone in the top right is missing). Has been cleaned and polished. Original handle is a chain with small ornate carvings on each link. Some wear from age, but in overall amazing condition. Could not hold a cell phone, but could hold everything else you need for night out. Measurements: 5 1/8" tall (9 1/4" tall to top of chain) and Approx. 3/4" deep Base is 7" wide Frame is 5" wide Chain is 11" long and 6mm wide
