This classic Coach leather shoulder bag has been very well loved. I went ahead and took pictures of all the different spots on the leather and ink stains inside and out. So no, someone used this bag on a very regular basis and did not know how to close or put a lid on a pen. With that being said. The exterior of the bag has little wrong with it. It all still works and functions the way it was designed to and I dare say even looks pretty good. And this is uncleaned. I am not someone who knows how to properly clean leather, so some of these things could come off. Anyway, I know the bag made in January of 2004 in the Guangzhou Shimen. This is represented in the first 4 letter/number sequence in the coach serial number. This coach bag serial number is A04S-7582. A=January 04=2004 S=Shimen or specifically Guangzhou Shimen, the leather bag manufacturing capital of China. The 7582 is the style number. So this is more of a Coach number than a serial number because many bags can and will have the same number depending on where they were made, when they were made, and of course the style they were made in. Anyway, I know one of you out there will love this bag pen marks and all!
